Pete Kavanagh is an experienced guitar player with over twenty five years playing and eight years teaching experience. He offers guitar tuition in a wide range of music styles tailored to the preference of each student.

The guitar lessons are suitable for Beginners to Intermediate and take approx twelve weeks to complete. Lessons are also suitable for students who have some knowledge of music or basic guitar playing.

Pete provides a patient, friendly and relaxed approach to discovering chords, scales, rhythm patterns and fingerstyles using your choice of songs. Lessons cover the basics of music theory, how to read guitar tablature and focus on your favoured playing style and signature sound. You can choose one to one guitar tuition or bring a friend(s) along to share in the fun of learning.

Classes are scheduled in the evenings.

Don't worry if you don't have a guitar yet as one can be provided during your lesson free of charge. Pete can also offer advise on what guitar may be best suited for you when you are ready to make that purchase.

Pete also holds an enhanced Disclosure Scotland.
